The Agreement
A copy of our current Agreement is displayed on our website at all times. This Agreement is in no way limited or modified by any other terms or conditions on this website. Medi Makeovers requires all users of its website and service to read the following important terms and conditions carefully. Providing Medi Makeovers with a request for an enquiry form and/or booking form, you expressly agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Agreement”). By using a link on the website to request a supply or by lodging a requirement on the medimakeovers.com website, you agree that you are at least 18 years of age and are not otherwise prevented from entering into a binding legal agreement.
Medi Makeovers Representation
Medi Makeovers is a coordinator of tours. Other than making information from third parties obtainable for you, introducing you to third party providers of goods and services, Medi Makeovers itself is not providing you with any goods or services in the capacity of a principal. Third party principals, not sub-contractors to Medi Makeovers, provide all goods and services to you, including tours, travel, activities, meals, consultations, operations and procedures. Neither Medi Makeovers nor any of its officers, employees or directors are doctors, dentists or otherwise qualified to provide information in relation to any medical procedure.
Your Representation to Medi Makeovers
You distinctively represent and certify to Medi Makeovers that you accept and are solely responsible for these risks and will not hold Medi Makeovers or its officers or employees responsible in any way you use those services solely at your own risk. That you have obtained independent medical advice from an appropriately qualified medical practitioner in relation to any medical services that you have asked Medi Makeovers to coordinate on your behalf. Medi Makeovers also suggest that you inform yourself of the procedures you are booking, and strongly advise you to obtain a second or third opinion if you are not sure, then if you go ahead and book, it is assumed that you have done so and ready to continue fully informed. You acknowledge that Medi Makeovers has not given you any counsel or gestured any opinion that a rational person would deem as being an advice or opinion of a medical nature (including with respect to any likely results, risks, and side effects or otherwise). Even though Medi Makeovers may have provided information regarding the availability of medical services or coordinated medical procedures, products or other services on your behalf, Medi Makeovers takes no responsibility whatsoever and excludes all liability for the actual medical services provided. You agree that the choice of Surgeon or Dentist is entirely yours and not Medi Makeovers, when you continue with the booking. If unsure, then please do not continue with the booking until you are sure.
Third Parties
Medi Makeovers employs every reasonable care in the selection of third parties that you are presented to and who may provide goods and services to you in association with a tour. Third Parties are independent of Medi Makeovers. Third parties provide transport, accommodation, tour, event or medical services or other agreed products to you. It is recommended that you check each third party service provider’s terms and conditions which apply to the goods or services they provide. You must ensure that you are aware of any exclusions or limitations of liability impressed by the service provider. All or some of these may exclude or limit liability for delays, property loss or damage, personal injury or even death. Apart from any condition or warranty entailed by law which cannot be excluded. Medi Makeovers does not make any sanctions or statement or representation relating to the goods or services provided to you under this Agreement, whether by Medi Makeovers or a Third Party.
Website Material
Since the information is derived from a variety of sources, Medi Makeovers is not responsible or liable for any inaccuracies or omissions as a result of misinformation received from third parties. Medi Makeovers does not advocate any specific technique or philosophy of cosmetic surgery procedure, nor does it endorse any medical procedure whatsoever. Medi Makeovers does not warrant that the information or material on this website is entirely free from error or omissions or entirely suitable or fit for the use intended of the information on this site.
Acknowledgement of Risk
You acknowledge that standards of medical advice, procedures and care generally outside Australia may be different to Australian standards. You further acknowledge that any medical advice, procedure or other service that you ask Medi Makeovers to book on your behalf carries risk. Example, the procedure may not be successful or may cause injury or have side effects. You acknowledge that you will follow all post operative and post dental procedures given to you by the practitioner, and if you are unsure, you will ask the appropriate questions. Medi Makeovers are not responsible for any communication between you and the practitioner (Surgeon/Dentist) in person. This discussion is between you and them and Medi Makeovers have no say in these conditions and comments given to you in person.
Exclusion of Liability
Medi Makeovers does not accept any liability in contract or in tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure unanticipated or uncontrollable event or effect on our part or directly or indirectly in connection with any trip organised by Medi Makeovers on your behalf. You agree to release, defend and hold harmless Medi Makeovers and its officers and employees and agents from all such liability and indemnify each of them severally against any such claims that may be made by or through you related to your breach of this Agreement or use of this website in any manner.
Insurance
Medi Makeovers strongly recommends travel insurance and that you strongly consider disclosing all relevant matters, including that you may undertake elective surgery. Please note that travel insurance will not cover any medical fees related to your booked surgery. We suggest you take out our fly back cover – see below

Cancellation Policy
There are no surgery cancellation fees if you decide not to go ahead with surgery, however, if you decide to cancel or terminate your holiday, some cancellation fees apply. If you chose one of our surgery/accommodation packages – there is a non-refundable amount if you cancel your surgery and do not rebook the surgery within 3 months – please refer to your invoice for the particular package conditions.
Please refer to the cancellation policy applied by the travel agent with regard to bookings made through the travel agent, upon your booking. In the case that you have personally booked your flight and accommodation, Medi Makeovers has no involvement or responsibility, financial or otherwise, with these arrangements.
The Medi Makeovers non-refundable administration fee for your personalised package must be paid upon booking. Please refer to your invoice conditions upon payment of deposit. Bookings not paid for by the due date on the invoice or subsequent payments not received are subject to terms and conditions on the actual invoice.
No refund or transfer is available for cancellations after the surgery holiday package has commenced or in respect of accommodation, meals or any other services not utilised.
Hotel bookings made by Medi Makeovers will be the total responsibility of the client that these bookings were made and confirmed by the client based on the information given to Medi Makeovers by the client. Medi Makeovers is not responsible for any outstanding fees and charges in relation to these confirmed bookings. If bookings are cancelled within 48 hours of the arrival date, the client will be responsible for any monies outlined by the actual hotel in the confirmation letters in relation to their cancellation policies. Please note that the client will incur a 3 night penalty fee if hotel is cancelled after this 48 hour time frame.
Promotional Giveaways
All giveaways or promotions are subject to the terms and conditions set by Medi Makeovers and/or their promotional partners. Promotional prizes may only be used in conjunction with Medi Makeovers bookings. All prizes must be booked via Medi Makeovers and are subject to change by Medi Makeovers only. Medi Makeovers has the right to refuse promotion or prize to any client who does not comply with Medi Makeovers terms and conditions. Flight and hotel prizes must be used in conjunction with Medi Makeovers procedure bookings, if the client chooses to cancel their procedure – flight and hotel prizes, even if they are pre-booked, become null and void. Medi Makeovers is a medical travel agency. All procedures booked via Medi Makeovers are done so via the direction of the client, Medi Makeovers has no input in the client’s decision to go ahead with a procedure or not.
